50s Pinup

I decided to link my photography project to my painting project and explore the role of women in society and art, I chose the iconic pinup girl image and recreated it myself, but as a second image I showed the other side of this "glamorous" image by showing the effects of the corset on my back, and the pain and discomfort women would have experienced wearing these clothes every day.
